Andrei was born and raised in Russia. He moved to Ukraine, to the city of Rubizhne, in 2017, when, according to him, “he could no longer live in an authoritarian regime.” The man, who is a photographer, asked not to show his face because his friends remained in Rubizhne and he is afraid for their safety.
