On June 9, during the battles for the village of Izbitskoye in the Kharkiv region, 39-year-old Alexander Drueke and 27-year-old Andy Huynh were taken prisoner. These are the first American citizens from the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine who ended up in Russian captivity. There is a strong possibility that they will become the Kremlin's bargaining chip, like their comrades in arms — two Britons and a Moroccan who were sentenced to death in Donetsk on the same day, June 9th.
