A Russian officer surrendered without a fight to the Ukrainian military in the Chuguyiv district of the Kharkiv region. He says that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian military completely destroyed their belief in victory.

"During the entire period of my stay in Ukraine, I understood that the Russian army had lost faith in victory. In addition, our command does not worry about its soldiers… on the contrary, it leaves them on the battlefield. And we are afraid. After all, we feel like cannon fodder here.
